12.5oz Kaihara Pure Indigo denim, 100% cotton, regular tapered fit, mid rise, zip fly, five pockets, pulp paper patch on back waistband. Made in Japan. The Kaihara mill in Fukuyama has been weaving denim since 1893. The open-end spinning process gives the yarn a slightly irregular texture compared to ring-spun denim, and the pure indigo produces a deep, clean blue that fades gradually and naturally with wear. The blue rinsed wash softens the hand straight off the shelf.
Regular through the seat and thigh, tapering from the knee. Mid rise sits at the natural waist without being high. The most straightforward cut in the Edwin range.

Care
Machine wash at 30 degrees inside out. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Cool iron inside out. Wash separately or with similar colours. May shrink up to 3% on first wash.
Fit notes
Regular tapered fit, mid rise. Runs true to size. May shrink slightly on first wash, worth bearing in mind when sizing. Measurements taken from the garment laid flat.
