Brown wool herringbone blouson jacket, boxy waist-length fit, two-way zip front, point collar, two large chest pockets with button-fastened flaps, elbow patches, adjustable hem tabs. The E130 is one of the longer-running shapes in the Universal Works line, based on a vintage jacket David Keyte bought in a Japanese market, taken to a sample room and adapted rather than copied. The elbow patch shape and the oversized collar are lifted directly from the original. The wool herringbone fabric is a two-tone weave, dark and ecru threads running together at a diagonal, the classic cloth for working jackets and country wear since the 19th century. Warm for its weight.
Pairs well with the Brown Wool Herringbone Pleated Track Pant as a suit. Works just as well with denim or moleskin trousers on its own.
