Kestin Ormiston Jacket - Navy Speckled Wool Fleece

Navy speckled wool fleece chore jacket, relaxed fit, three front patch pockets, two side tool pockets, button front. The Ormiston is Kestin's take on a vintage carpenter's jacket, the same basic silhouette as a chore coat but with the side tool pockets that mark it as workwear rather than fashion workwear. This version is made from a speckled fleece from Mapel, a family-owned mill that has been knitting wool fabrics in Prato, Italy since 1977. The fleece is 84% recycled polyester with 16% virgin wool, soft and warm without the weight of a full wool coat. The speckle gives it more visual interest than a plain navy, visible up close, reads as a deep navy from a distance.

Practical as a mid-season layer over a shirt or knit. Works from September through to November on its own, under a heavier coat from December.
