Harley of Scotland Supersoft Lambswool Crewneck - Basalt

Basalt lambswool crewneck, smooth finish, seamless construction, ribbed cuffs and hem. Same factory, same Peterhead address, same JC Rennie yarn spun 12 miles away, same knitted-in-the-round construction as the navy. Basalt is a dark mid-grey, cooler in tone than charcoal, named after the volcanic rock it sits closest to in colour. The kind of grey that reads as almost-black in low light and as a proper grey in daylight. Works with most things.

If the navy is the most versatile colourway in the Harley range, Basalt is a close second. Goes under a chore jacket or field jacket as easily as it goes over a shirt collar.

Care

Dry clean recommended. If hand washing, use cool water and a wool-friendly detergent. Dry flat, reshape whilst damp. Do not tumble dry.

Fit notes

These come up on the smaller side. We'd recommend sizing up, particularly if you plan to layer underneath or prefer a relaxed fit. Measurements taken from the garment laid flat.

Chest measured armpit to armpit. Length measured centre back to hem. Sleeve measured centre back of neck to cuff. All measurements in cm.
